Learn & Grow has been in business for over 40 years and we look forward to many more years to come! The first location was opened in 1977 by Kathryn Elvidge, who over the years had almost all of her children work there, and she went on to even have multiple grandchildren work at the center! Today the center is run by Kathryn's grandson and his wife Allie who is the current Director of Learn & Grow Child Care LLC. We truly believe that childcare is one of the most important industries as it allows parents to work and contribute to our society with peace of mind, knowing that their child(ren) are safe and in good hands. We do our best to help shape these children into well-rounded caring individuals who love to learn and become independent with day-to-day tasks.

At Learn & Grow we know how precious your children are to each and every one of you. We have four children of our own, which is relevant because we know how important it is that you know your children are in a safe and nurturing environment.
When we set out to hire new staff members, one of the most important principals is that we would not hire anyone that we wouldn't trust our own children with. At Learn & Grow we have great teachers who love children and take pride in helping these children grow. Amongst our staff there is many years of experience as well as multiple aspiring life-long teachers in the making.
In all age groups we try to implement curriculum into our daily routines including art, sensory play, music, reading/ writing and physical activity for the appropriate age groups. We feel that it is extremely important to have the children doing lots of activities because this time in their lives is when the children start to develop the fundamental skills that aid them when they move on to grade school. What is Brightwheel?
At Learn & Grow we use application software called "Brightwheel". This is a program that allows you as a parent to be able to check in with our teachers throughout the day if necessary. As our teachers get down time, they will log information such as meal description/ how much the child ate, art projects, nap time duration, behavior notes, incident reports, and even just pictures of your child having fun throughout the day. All of this of course comes second to the primary objective of each day which is physically keeping all the children safe as well as caring for their needs.
